M.D.I. Slimming Machine

M.D.I. Slimming Machine is a method of non-invasive fat reduction that uses lipo cavitation to liquify diet-resistant fat and naturally melt it away. Lipo cavitation is achieved through a number of technologies including ultrasound. Ultrasound waves, applied by a handheld device, are delivered to the adipose tissue below the skin. A vacuum pressure helps lift the tissue so the ultrasound waves are evenly distributed throughout the treatment area. Simultaneously, Radio Frequency gives the skin a workout, helping to increase the production of collagen and elastin; proteins that give our skin firmness and lift.

Lipo cavitation is a comfortable, non-invasive, painless treatment. Your technician will apply an ultrasound gel lubricant to the treatment area to allow the M.D.I. Slimming Machine a smooth glide over the skin. The handheld device has a round, flat end that’s moved in circles across the areas you want treated. While lipo cavitation is painless, you may experience a light buzzing sensation in your ears or teeth.

Your treatment will take approximately 45 minutes.

Lipo cavitation using the M.D.I. Slimming Machine is very safe and typically has no side effects. Occasionally, people may experience mild redness or bruising, and may develop a headache. Symptoms should resolve quickly.

Most healthy people are good candidates for Ultrasound cavitation, however, in some cases, treatment should be postponed, or avoided. Your aesthetician will help you decide if this is the right treatment for you. If you experience any of these health concerns, you may not be able to have lipo cavitation:

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• HIV/AIDS
• Cancer
• Certain autoimmune disorders such as Lupus
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure 
• Heart problems or diseases
• Kidney disease
• Pacemakers or other electronic implants

If you are generally healthy and have stubborn fat that has not reduced despite diet and exercise, you are a good candidate for treatment. 

Lipo cavitation is meant to reduce areas of stubborn fat, so generally, candidates need to be within 10-20 pounds or less of their ideal weight. This treatment is not meant to be a weight loss treatment, but rather, to help melt small pouches of fat that are resistant to other modes of fat reduction.

Before your treatment, avoid sun exposure. You won’t be able to have your treatment if the skin on your treatment area is sunburnt. You also don’t need to apply lotions the day of your treatment. The cleaner your skin is, the better the treatment will work. Drink plenty of water the day of your treatment as well.

Following your treatment, you can return to your regular activities immediately. For best results, eat well and continue to live a healthy, active lifestyle throughout your treatments and after. This will allow you to keep your new trim, sculpted look much longer.

You’ll begin to notice results after 4-5 monthly lipo cavitation treatments, with full results seen after 8-10 treatments. Lipo cavitation treatment results are cumulative, meaning you’ll see more results with subsequent treatments.

Most people require 8-10 treatments to see their desired outcome with optimal results showing about 1 month after their final treatment.

Results from lipo cavitation are permanent. The fat cells that are destroyed during the treatment cannot return. However, not all fat cells are removed, since you do need to have some adipose tissue covering your entire body. The remaining fat cells can expand if you gain weight due to lifestyle or metabolic changes.
